And spark your creativity.

For the past month or so, I’ve been bombarded with all the news about covid-19. So much, that it’s been depressing me and sucking the positivity and creativity right out of me. Now as someone who depends on writing and blogging to pay for her medication and gluten-free dinner, that’s not a good thing. Yes, I do have to practice discipline and write when I’m inspired at all. But it so much more fun when all my creative juices are flowing.

So, I’ve been creating writing prompts for myself to help kickstart my flow and I wanted to share some with you all. Whether you’re new to writing or a seasoned writer in their prime, I think writing prompts can help everyone improve their writing or just have fun.

Here are 5 writing prompts to get your mind off of the worldwide pandemic.

#1 Write a paragraph using the word gratitude as a verb (action).

#2 Write a poem about how you’re feeling right now

#3 Write down five things that make you happy

#4 Write a letter to yourself.

#5 Write a poem about your first crush.

I truly hope you enjoy these writing prompts as much as I do. And if you did, please let me know in the response section
