Today is Blackout Tuesday where everyone stands in solidarity with all African American people who have been tried unfairly not only in this country but also in other parts of this world.

I just want to say thank you to both white and non-white creators and readers for standing with my people in this fight. Thank you for wanting to know our stories and educating yourself and your kids about not only people that don’t look like you but about how and what this country was built on and taking steps to change it to make this a better world for all our future children.

I hope to someday be seated at the table of brotherhood (AND SISTERHOOD) with every color, nationality, faith, and orientation.

Please remember that we are truly more alike than not.
