Numerous writers are taking their writing careers into their own hands. With the rise of online writing platforms and self-publishing, being discovered as a writer or poet has become more accessible than ever before.

Yet, with this sudden rise over a span of approximately ten years, the market is becoming more saturated, in tern making it more difficult to be discovered in certain genres of writing.

A slew of online writing platforms are making bigger and better moves for those who are already well-known established writers in their communities. Some have gotten book deals and movie deals thanks to the popularity of the online version of their novels.

But here’s something I’ve been noticing for the past 4–5 years. I’ve noticed that bigger companies aren’t making much room for newcomers. What I mean by this, is they’re putting more time into the ones that have already made it, and making it harder for those aren’t as famous.

As a company, I would do that because I’m following what’s popular which is where the money is. They might not say this, but they don’t really care much about your work/stories, because if…
